The first step in improving your hearing is to make an appointment with a hearing professional for a hearing evaluation. Your ears will be examined visually and tested with the latest standard-of-care methods and technology. You will be asked questions to gather information about your health history and about your experiences as they relate to your hearing health.
The hearing test and evaluation process will take about an hour. It is simple and painless. You will be asked to respond to various sounds and signals. Once complete, the results will be shared with you and recommendations based on that information will be made. In cases where hearing technology is needed, suggestions will be offered and questions will be answered. If the hearing loss is not yet evident, or if it doesn’t yet warrant temporary correction through the use of hearing aids, your test results can be used as a baseline for future testing.
